The Vein Clinic of Dallas

First Visit

Our process is straightforward yet thorough. Below is what you can expect at every step.

Initial Consultation

Harvard trained vein specialist Dr. Husein Poonawala will initially examine your history and spend as much time required to understand your concerns. A detailed physical examination will then be performed with close attention to your problem areas.

Duplex Ultrasound Examination

A detailed ultrasound vein mapping examination will be performed by the vein specialist or our vascular sonographers specializing exclusively in vein disease. This entails examining and challenging the veins of your legs to outline all the abnormal veins and accurately understand the problem areas. This is a crucial step in formulating a successful treatment plan and may take approximately 45 minutes.

What’s next?

After careful evaluation, the vein specialist will explain the findings and recommend a personalized treatment strategy to tackle your venous disease.

Our vein treatment options include the latest advancements in minimally invasive treatment technologies. We recommend options focused solely on your specific symptoms and needs, providing the most benefit to you. One size absolutely does not fit all and understanding the subtle differences is why we can boast such impressive results.

Finally

Our team of knowledgeable patient care specialists will answer any additional questions you may have and will help coordinate your care. This includes explaining your specific insurance requirements and applicable costs. Feel free to have all your questions and concerns taken care of!
