Dr. Husein Poonawala is the driving force behind The Vein Clinic of Dallas. He is a dual board-certified Harvard trained Vascular and Interventional Radiologist with a passion for treating vein disorders.
From his fascination and decade long experience with venous disease, came the birth of this highly specialized patient-centric varicose vein clinic in Flower Mound, TX. Dr. Poonawala has always displayed an unwavering passion for his work, deep commitment to his patients, and is now focused solely on helping patients conquer vein disease and end needless suffering.
Dr. Husein Poonawala is one of the few physicians in the nation to be board-certified in Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM)
A distinction that represents his knowledge, experience, and commitment to providing advanced vein care and quality service.
Certification in ABVLM is an accomplishment achieved by less than one percent of vein care professionals in North America and requires extensive training and experience. Applicants must also pass a stringent re-certification examination every 10 years.

Consultation
Discuss your legs with our vein specialist to understand your vein health. If vein problems are present, a thorough duplex ultrasound examination is performed to further assess your veins. We will explain all findings and recommend a personalized treatment strategy to tackle your vein health.
Vein Treatment
Our individualized strategies encompass data-driven cutting edge treatments carried out over a few sessions. Treatments are usually under an hour, and are performed at our state-of-the-art vein center in Flower Mound, TX.
Post-treatment Care
